Write to Heal: A Weekend of Reflection and Community
May 15 – May 17, 2026 | Londonderry, VT
Join Blue Healing Journeys for an intimate writing retreat designed specifically for survivors of suicide loss. Set in the quiet beauty of the Green Mountains of Vermont, this weekend offers a rare opportunity to step away from the noise of daily life and find your voice through the power of narrative.
The Experience
Loss often disrupts our internal story. Through guided workshops, quiet contemplation, and shared meals, we will explore how writing can act as a bridge toward reclaiming that narrative. This is not a technical writing course; it is a safe, supportive space to process lived experience alongside others who truly understand the journey.
Special Guest Instructor: Barbara Ungar
We are honored to be joined by Barbara Ungar, an award-winning poet and professor with a deep expertise in the transformative power of the written word. Barbara’s work often explores the intersections of memory and healing, making her an ideal guide for this retreat. She will lead sessions designed to help participants tap into their creative intuition and find clarity in the aftermath of loss.
